Where The Music Meets the Instrument As you stand quietly, in the place where Mystery meets Substance, the wave shyly approaches and whispers at your feet. The next is perhaps a bit more persistent. Bold. You have to shift to find new footing in the sand to gain stability. The next wave, in possession of its marching orders, breaks free of restraints and challenges your balance altogether. The earth quickly takes on new shape beneath you, and you need to reposition to gain new ground. You may even have to fight to stay on your feet. The next….. fresh and gentle, comes and wraps around you so shyly, that you barely notice it much at all, except that it feels cool, refreshing, cleansing, and nourishing. It soothes and caresses, and you see the beauty of the reflection of the setting sun in it. As it recedes, you are acutely aware of each and every grain of shifting sand, flowing between your toes, rolling beneath your feet, taking new form, and changing the topograph

I've decided that I listen to myself "talk" so much, I might as well give others the pleasure as well. Sharing the wealth, people!! :) It's amazing how staring at a blank piece of screen can create such a cacophony of emotions. There's so much to say, yet nothing to say. I'm pretty sure another cup of coffee would help immensely. As the weeks unfold, I'll be opening up and sharing some interesting thoughts and memories, some fun, and some not so fun, but always cathartic, and hopefully entertaining and enlightening to others. Unwrapping memories is at times like untangling a favorite piece of jewelry all hung up on itself. It can be a frustrating, painstaking process, but you know what a beautiful piece it is and how great it feels to wear. That is our soul.
